While wearing a white collar dress to a white collared job may seem like an intended coincidence, I can assure you that it totally is. I came across this dress while partaking in a new hobby of mine. My new hobby includes but is not limited to; laying in bed under a sea of white comforters in a bathrobe, sipping on a glass of red- Olivia Pope style, while scouring the instagram accounts of every Second Time Around store around the globe. While this may seem like a bizarre thing to do, the chase or hunt if you will for a perfect new piece to add to your closet is interestingly enough very satisfying. Each account location is perfectly curated with second hand items in almost perfect condition for sale. You could get lost looking through great designer items at a fraction of the cost. The best thing–not everyone will have the item you buy. Refrain from drinking too much wine when exercising this hobby due to the easy purchase process– like an item, call the store for said item, say your name–oops your credit card and address are already on file, purchase completed. This could get a little dangerous.
The dress happens to be BCBGMazria which retailed at $348. I stole this off of instagram for $65. The dress features fun caveats like a white collar, matching white cuffs and a colorful abstract flowers printed on delicate lace. I know it’s not entirely convenient to suggest pairing this dress with suede over the knee boots when it’s supposed to be spring, but when all is said and done, I couldn’t resist wearing them one last time. And I didn’t go for a pedicure. Sue me.
