THE WEEKLY RECAP:
I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a vacation. I will be waking up in sunny Florida without a care in the world for two weeks later this week. Every year at this time I crave the sun and all the vitamin d in the world. Luckily my family has a house in Florida 5 minutes from the beach, which makes an extended vacation easy. I am packing lots of books, sunscreen and a giant floppy hat and do not plan on leaving the beach for the full two weeks. Besides working on my killer tan, I feel it will be the perfect time to hit the reset button after a little rest and relaxation. Do you have any vacations or upcoming trips planned?

WHAT I’M READING:
We all want to feel like a #girlboss and Sophia Amoruso is the entrepreneur to read about. I can relate to her start in fashion, selling clothes in an ebay store, although we clearly do not have the same outcome. Sophia is the founder and CEO of Nasty Gal which is one of my favorites online boutiques to shop at when in search for eclectic, head turning pieces. Nasty Gal’s mantra is being the boss of your life, owning your choices as much as you do your mistakes, and knowing that life starts at the end of your comfort zone. Being a Girlboss isn’t about being the boss of others—it’s about taking charge of your future. I highly suggest reading this book, I love Sophia’s raw and real story of how she got to where she is today.
