It’s not a secret the fall weather hasn’t graced NYC with its presence, despite it almost being November. But that is totally ok because I haven’t even had the chance to update my new fall wardrobe.
Do you ever feel the need to eliminate everything in your closet and start over? I go through this cycle every other week. Wash, rinse and repeat 7 days a week. It usually starts with me having an amazing outfit idea. Thinking this outfit is going to be the best thing I have tried on since 2007, until I actually try it on and realize it’s an epic fail.
Fast forward a half hour of trying on everything in my closet and throwing everything on the ground. The ending of the story is I’m unhappy with the style, fit or how I feel in everything I own. This leads to a full on meltdown and wearing the same thing I wore the week prior. I can’t continue to start my mornings like this.
Poshmark is the ultimate answer to all my meltdowns and fall wardrobe dilemmas. I can easily take photos of anything I want to eliminate in my closet, upload the photos to the Poshmark app, say a few words about the clothes and I’m done. I have been a serious Poshmark user for about a year now. It has been the easiest way to swap clothes in and out of my closet at the most amazing prices. I don’t feel as guilty buying new clothes, if I am selling some at the same time.
Just because you don’t love what is in your own closet, doesn’t mean someone else wouldn’t die for it. The best part about the app is it reminds me of Instagram.
