Today it’s all about this printed skirt {on sale} from Nordstrom by their Chelsea28 line. If you haven’t shopped this line recently, I recommend you go now because the new collection is worth checking out! I have a couple other items that I’m planning on styling very soon. What I like the most about this outfit is that it combines all of my favorite things: pleats, stripes and ruffles. Also, l love the feminine vibe of the skirt mixed with a pajama blouse from Banana Republic gives it a more relaxed feeling while still looking chic. How To Pull Off The Pajama Trend
Choose one piece as the focal point that represents your personal style. In my case stripes are my usual go to so this this pajama-inspired top worked naturally into my wardrobe.
Stick to fabrics that drape effortlessly. Silk is always the best option, but a similar fabric will work just as well.
The most important part of this trend is to not look like you are actually wearing pajamas. I would suggest wearing a sexy statement heel like these Sam Edelman’s to keep the outfit looking more dressed up than casual.
