I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent my time exploring Washington D.C. which may have became my new favorite city! The buildings and the architecture are something out of a dream. The history behind every building and the ornate features that have been around for what feels like forever had my mind spinning. Who knew history could be so interesting. I wish I would have been more interested when I was studying it at school. Guess it takes a first hand experience to really appreciate things.
Something about traveling is inspiring beyond doubt, inarguably new and rejuvenating when considering the endless places you’ll go. I dream about the places I’ll see and the people I’ll meet and want to wear something uber fashionable for the trip. In some ways I dress better when traveling and want to pack the best of the best. I tested my meteorologist skills for this trip and crammed as many layers as possible into my carry on. Luckily the weather was absolutely perfect. Not too hot not too cold and my leather jacket was my go to item. I am all for summer weather but part of me isn’t ready to put down my leather layers. Onto the next packing challenge for wine fest in Nantucket this upcoming weekend. I have a feeling this leather jacket will be coming with me on the weekend hiatus as well.
