If there was ever a regret in my life, it would be not listening to my orthodontist back in high school about wearing my retainers. I am not an orthodontist, but I very well could have been with how easy it was to complete the modeling trays. If you send back your usable models of your teeth and the orthodontist determines your case can’t be treated, a full refund of the $95 kit will be returned to you.
- submitting photos: this step had to be the most difficult for me. I clearly need to practice my selfie skills. The quality of the images must be clear and show every bit of your mouth. The process can be tricky at times. Candid’s customer service is always there to help and make the process smoother. You can book a video chat with the team, who will walk you through the entire process and make sure you’re doing it correctly. I went through 3 rounds of submits for my photos because the orthodontist wanted to ensure complete accuracy.
- clear aligners: this is the moment of truth. After I sent my modeling kit back to Candid™ there was a three week waiting period. In that time I had the pleasure of speaking with staff as they diligently followed up with me. Candid’s excellent support team explained the 3D model that my orthodontist created, which shows my current teeth and the trajectory of how we would achieve my perfect smile.
