THE WEEKLY NO. 2
THE WEEKLY RECAP:
I hope everyone’s week is off to a fabulous start! My first week into the new year started off very positive. I finished 2 books and kept on track with some of my goals! This week I am fully embracing the working out and healthy eating goals that everyone tries to start. I don’t start these goals until the second week of January so I can fully enjoy my birthday. This year I went away for a ski weekend in New Hampshire at Waterville Valley. I haven’t been skiing in 8 years so I was a little nervous getting back into it. Kind of like riding a bicycle, I surprised myself with how quickly I got back into it. I had the most fun, the conditions were great and I forgot how much I loved this winter sport. I definitely will be going a few more times this season!
FAVORITES OF THE WEEK:
Everything I am wishing to add into my life this week!
WHAT I’M READING:
A New York Time’s best selling novel, the biography of Bergdorf Goodman’s legendary personal shopper Betty Halbreich is a great read for someone who enjoys the fashion industry. Betty paved the way for personal shopping in department stores and is a true inspiration when it comes knowing and understanding her audience. I loved the book and having worked at Nordstrom for many years after college I came to truly appreciate her immense knowledge for her clients and how she styled each one individually. I read this book in one weekend, so it truly is a quick and easy read and her life story is so interesting.
